Golden Ears Self-propelled
After a very delayed departure (groceries, bike tuning, repacking, gear borrowing, and more) we set off towards Golden Ears Provincial Park. Arrived at the parking lot around 3am, not without Justin falling asleep at the handle bars. Woke to meet Che and Lucy, hiked up to the nub just before the hut, encountered a some wet snow avalanche conditions, and decided to bail on the summit and bivy there. Fun time had by all. On the way back we escaped the rain to explore a winery for some free samples.
